Daiwa Emeraldas MX Rods
Are the "regular" models being discontinued? From what I can tell online, there are a whole bunch of "new" Emeraldas products
2017 - Emeraldas MX (Outline)
2018 - Emeraldas X (Inline), Emeraldas V (seems like the new base model?), Emeraldas MX Boat series
2019 - New Release Emeraldas AGS
Have been looking at the Emeraldas MX (outline) rods, but noticed that a lot of places are out of stock of the ML, some even marking it as discontinued. That combined with the new series rods released in 2018 make it quite confusing.

Re: Daiwa Emeraldas MX Rods
where did you get all this info from? These are not the Australian models listed.
The local market only has the Emeraldas(base model with brading X blank) Emeraldas MX (next level up with HVF blank) and Emeraldas AGS models (SVF blank and AGS guides)
Emeraldas Interline and the V are JDM models, they have quite a few more different variations
Boat models are just the shorter models for use on a boat, also available locally in the MX and AGS models Only.

most places i've seen dont have the MX in the ML action, and some even mark it as discontinued

Re: Daiwa Emeraldas MX Rods
I've had three of the Emeraldas Interline rods - from MX 83MLI to now Stoist AGS 83M and they've been awesome. Great fun on salmon too when they come through

Nice one! I've been looking around for them and found this store
https://www.tumomart.com
the prices seem a bit too good to be true though...

Try digitaka.com I've bought off them before and they have a good range and prices.whambamsam wrote: ↑Wed Jun 26, 2019 10:36 pmAre the "regular" models being discontinued? From what I can tell online, there are a whole bunch of "new" Emeraldas products

I've not used them, I've only used Plat.co and Digitaka and both are very good - Digitaka is faster with postage however.whambamsam wrote: ↑Mon Jul 01, 2019 11:19 pmNice one! I've been looking around for them and found this store

The Stoist I had to source from Yahoo Auctions japan as they weren't available anywhere.

Re: Daiwa Emeraldas MX Rods
Have looked at digitaka - a bit confused because I couldn't find anything about the difference between these two rods
