Got the Savage recently. It's great and comes with a really good bag.

Yeah something like this is probably more than suffice for estuary species like flathead and bream, coupled with a 2500 ci4+ will be a nice little combo

I'll go have a squiz tonight in the flesh but I reckon that will do me.

Veritas are my snapper rods. Basically a mini version of a terez. They are good but I dunno if they come in 3 or 4 piece do they??

What reel do you run on your bream rods and do u think a 2500 ci4 will go well for estuary flathead and bream or go larger?

2500 ci4 is great. Compact design and super light. You wont get tired casting all day.

5 PIECE, its a proper travel rod

2500 is plenty, smaller if anything, but the next smallest size is 1k.

most of my small reels are 2004 daiwa

Ok I just that savage 4 piece and stradic ci4. $350 for both. Can't complain

Also @ purple... stradic do a 2000 but just went the 2500

Kinda wish I got that veritas though. My 1 piece are quality rods for their price
