also look at atomic arrowz. dunno if they have a travel model in the range but they're built by majorcraft and feel like a majorcraft.

Kinda wish I got that veritas though. My 1 piece are quality rods for their price

Nope. Best you can get is a 2 piece. They are damn good rods though... If you don't mind the white colour

Ok. That's still a decent buy. Didnt realise the ci4 models came in 2k. Last time I was looking they never made them in that size.

Ive got a Shakespeare slingshot 3 piece 7ft travel rod, cost $50 from Tackleworld. Its caught snapper, rat kings, decent salmon and even big bream. Pretty good bit of kit.
