Yeah predominantly bait fishing and yeah boat too. But something versatile enough to troll/jig with occasionally.

Ok king mac is on the cards lol
Get something under 7ft then. A 7ft rod will be shitty for jigging. I got a Daiwa monster mesh combi jerk. Mad allrounder
Sorry just seen this post

I got a couple ~6 foot ugly sticks in the odd case of jogging, so mostly looking for rods for spinning/trawling/bait fishing so yeah around that 7 foot mark I suppose

I know it's one of them fine lines of trying to balance out kingfish with shark fishing. But I'd rather 50lbs for kingies than 30lbs for bronzies or mako

I was recommended a T Curve in the 10-15kg range instead.

Pls halp
I run 50lb on both if mine. No issues. They're heavier than their rating suggests (could've been rated 10-15kg easily). The only 2 fish I'd worry in Victoria about is a Mako over 150kg and a barrel tuna, that'd leave you undergunned

Never used a t curve so can't comment on that.
But I believe the t curve are overhead only but terez you can buy as a spin rod or overhead

Tcurve Bluewater only come in spin models now (5-10, 10-15, 15-24, stickbait, GT special, Kingmac). Once upon a time they had overhead models in the range, all had SiC guides (now Aconite) too... Before the Terez was released that is a step below the Tcurve range (Terez, Tcurve, Ocea in that order)
