I use a storm gomoku rod its not a specialist squid rod does the ob for me. Its a versatile rod also use it for other forms of fishing

Toray blank with micro ti sic guides.
$300

It feels sensational in hand. Couple of mates bought em. No dramas fished out of the boat. However I’m hoping he brings out a model a bit shorter like my 7’8 Megabass caiyen.
