I got really badly smoked on a little madscad off the front of Kiama blowhole on the last trip. Splurged a bit but happy with that. Apparently those sluggo's are ridiculous as well.

Ahh, I get that. Thought the title was having a joke showing them weighed. Yeah, light gear and well balanced setup makes a diff for sure. Longest session I've done would be 4 hrs, don't think I've ever had a bite last longer than that. I'd need a lay down and a sleep after 10!

Would be pretty buggered after a session like that fore sure. My missus and I fished like that a couple of days when in Merimbula last year. Still remember how sore we were the next day :rofl:
