Fuji have different names for the different material in the guide ring. They have the basic, next step is hardloy, then alconite, followed by SiC and top out at Torzite. Each step up is a slightly harder wearing and lighter material. They also have different frame materials all the way up to titanium.

Don't know specifics on that model, but given the gomokus historically have alconites I'd go with that

Kr are fuji's better guide series designed to reduce guide wrap when casting. Fuji o guides are older tech. Personally if I had to choose between identical rods, one with k's and the other with o's, I'd go the k guides every time

I've been thinking about one of these rods. I like the idea of them. Anyone tried one out? Thanks
