What do you do with the remains of rods?
I have a JW 10 foot bottom half, JW 7 foot bottom half, JW telescopic 7foot bottom sections and a few bits. Also some not fully working reels which I have cannibalised some parts to keep other bits going eg, the drag nut from a well encrusted Abu Garcia reel picked up snorkelling attached to a smashed up handle to replace my JW which had worn out and that was also picked up snorkelling attached to a rod with a broken tip. I replaced the tip with a kit from KMart. Hmmm, shall have to look in the attic to see what other bits I have. Swap, anyone? :idea:
