In saying that a 4000 reel and associated rod might not be enough to tackle the wpb bycatch
Ppb id just get the 2-4 kg and 2500 sienna for whiting and snapper.
I have the 4000 sienna and it's probably overkill for average sized snapper tbh..
4000 shimano ax reel is the combo i caugh 6.5 kg gummy and handled it fine.
Hooked a few rsys and theres no stopping them really

Not everyone's cup of tea...but I love Baitrunners (and these are dirt cheap @ Complete Angler)

That is a ripper price. Usually that’s the sale price for the OC model which is the base model.
