Well thats crap then.
But if they did you would you still need to buy a australia map card?
Won't work. They're geolocked
Well why they advertised in australia then if we cant use them.
They're not. You're browsing the world wide Amazon, linked to a US Lowrance sounder offered for sale on Amazon by a US seller that even says they do not ship to Australia. Devil is in the very easy to find detail

Are you guys even looking at the Australian Amazon site?

There is no fishing gear on the Aussie site ATM, its too early, it only just went online.

I've had an account with Amazon (USA) for a few years now and found quite a lot of their fishing gear (mainly lures, waders & wading boots) is cheaper than Ebay.. Bought a pair of waders from them some time back and the supplier sent the wrong size. Got in touch with them and had a refund in a day.. Even before I returned them they also refunded the return postage, it's like every thing though you have to shop around for the best prices.. I'm sure you'll find the Australian store will be pretty competitive too..
cheers

Sadly if you look at shopping malls in the U.S, some have closed & others are in decline as a direct result of Amazon, EBay & Alibaba research has shown.
So it's a bitter pill to swallow as many retail jobs will go just as has happened in the U.S.
Who cares you say, Well let's see we barely manufacture anything anymore, Govt is selling our land etc off to China & our food. And let's Oh Yes Apple, Google, MacDonalds, EBay etc pay minuscule taxes on the $ Billions they take in profits from Australia.
And then we lament when Alvey etc are gone.
Ooh wait I just got a message from Amazon about a cracking deal, See ya :P
