using this on a surf beachs however is not going to work very well.

I love a 7-8' rod depending on what youll be targeting most with a little 2500 or 4000 Shimano Aernos reel, those things are versatile dynamite! And have a 10 year warranty and come with 2 spools so u are virtually getting 2 reels for the price of 1.
