How many rods/reels have you got?

I've been downsizing for a while, selling off & giving away 'then' buying 1 instead of 2/3.. i think i'm down to about 10 or so that i use.
2 x Surf,
2 x Heavy Surf,
1 x Heavy Spin 10',
1 x Light Spin 9',
2 x Pier 7' Graphite & 1 x Boat (When i jump on with mates),
1 x Whiting / Squid

No where near enough... Need another 2 Tiagra 30lrsas, a Tiagra 50, 2 Tiagra 12s, another gosa 10k, a gosa 6k, need to track down another Chronarch 50mg and need to decide on a squid outfit plus all the associated rods for those above so total will end up around 50-60 by the time I'm content

when you got a boat you need spares for when you take people out or the grand kids when i go out by myself on the snapper 4 for snapper 4 for squid theres 8 getting used :a_goodjob: :cheers: :water: :thumbsup:

I would say around 20+
3 x surf outfits
2 x squid
4 x whiting plus 4 x whiting kids rods for when they come or want to use "their rod"
4 x snapper
2 x plastic outfits
3 x kingy jigging outfits
6 x game/tuna outfits
5 x spare rods and ends i.e. stickbait rods yet to be deployed into the arsenal
4/6 x rods with missing runners and broken tips etc

OK so doing the count of the breakdown my 20+ should be more like 30+ but hey who's counting....I will need to buy at least two more reels this coming tuna season as some of the light reels are TLD20/25's and I hate the handles but like the light line on the school fish.

Wow just had a look and says I have only one post and only been member since 2011.....thought I joined around 2003/4 and would have had over 50 posts but been very quiet on the boards for 5-6 years. I often get bagged at work for buying more rods and reels lures etc how many can a man want, this post made me go and count them. Its an even number 40 all my rods have reels from whiting to 24kg stand up outfits 14ft float rods to 6ft jigging I may need to cull some I recently gave some rods and reels to a guy at work for his kids. But I may need to buy 2 more outfits because 42 is the magic number the meaning of life the universe and everything qoute hitchhikers guide to the galaxy.
And don't forget he who dies with the most tackle wins
