Just replaced all my light fishing reels with Sienna 2500 FEs. Picked them up at $30 each. Used a mates stradic and while I can definitely feel/see the differences I saved $200 per reel so $600.

Anything Daiwa cheap and salt, in my opinion is no good. For what they are even at $50 the Sienna are a solid reel.

Thats just me though.

I got a 1000 stradic it's great balances perfectly on the daiwa drunk munkey. Use it lure fishing

For carp I got a 1000 daiwa aird n I can't fault it it's an awesome little reel! Sienna is cheaper but the air d feels nicer in hand. Saying this had my sienna closing in on 4 years now n the air d maybe 2..

Can't miss with a sienna in all honesty.. but, I'd prefer to fish with my aird than my sienna merely due to how it feels in hand both handle fish just as good

For some reason I'm not a fan of Daiwa for salt. I think Daiwa for fresh and Shimano for salt. Just me though.

I have heaps of 7' and 7'6" rods. They balance well with Stradic CI4/CI4+ 2500/3000. It is out of balance with the older Stradic FA (pearl) due to heavier aluminum body of the old reel.

Bring your rod when buying the reel and select the best balance. If it is tip heavy, glue a lead circular "plate" (for the lack of better word) to the butt end to balance it. :-)

Have you tried the new 2016 nasci's i think they are pretty decent and smooth

And neither will I. Then I'll have to start putting stickers on my car like yours. Lel
