Same size body, obviously the 8k has a bigger spool and possibly (don't have one, and not near one so can't say for sure) rotor

THX to everyone that responded with advise, I guess from what you guy's are saying the 8000 could be the reel.
It would have been good to see pictures side by side of the two but it's not meant to be, the 8000 gives a buffer with extra line for almost the same size and weight reel ?
Dinga has the thunnus 6000 and the 8000 for the same price hence my indecision on what size to get.
It's only for bait fishing so I'm not repeatitively spinning with it. ( snapper rod for boat and surf rod LB)
I'm not a daiwa man so I'm not interested in that brand reel.... ( tho I do like some of their rods )
