Haha...I think when you get a bite the rod goes ......Boing!! and straightens up.

I've never seen anyone use this system, probably because it doesn't look very efficient.

The way the line sits at the bending will be put under unnecessary stress and may break on a bite before the rod has time to straighten up.

You can get the from the laverton market, checked them out last Saturday and they didn't look great

sorry bud, didnt ask the price, he also had rod holders that did the same thing there as well
