tomorrow night isn't much good for gummy this time of the month but the

wind looks ok so might give it a crack , itching to give them a run on the

skate that will give them a work out .

Nice looking reels!

Is the bail arm plastic or metal?

Cool. I did the mandatory lick test (yeah, sounds weird but at least I don't brush my toes and sniff the fingers...) in store and thought it felt like graphite...

well i went over the beach and the conditions were great pity it's the wrong time of the month

but i did manage 1 gummy , and i am surprised at the cranking power of these reels even though

they have a ratio of 5.7:1 but i will say they wasted there time with the shitty clicker on the spool

i can't even hear it when at the rod let alone when a fish grabs it and i'm 10' away because the surf

just drowns it out it is so quiet .

well i went over the beach last night but no gummies but i did manage 5 school sharks all under size :(

now one thing is it looks like i am going back to mono as braid sucks donkys off the beach , because there

is no stretch you have trouble holding bottom and i use a 7oz sinker , just have a look at these conditions

just about perfect 2' swell and that bar is only 50 - 60 yards out so easy to cast over .

look at the rod on the left it isn't out yet but the one on the right is and this what happens with a small

wave , with mono a bend that big would only happen with a 6' to 7' wave .

any way the sun set was worth it .
