i looked at shimano and they don't have mag anti backlash that was the deal breaker for me so daiwa for me

Decent thumb and you don't need it. No mag brakes hasn't stopped my little old Chronarch mg from throwing big bastard spinnerbaits down to unweighted plastics

I ise my thump all the time.

alot easier to land the lure on the spot

Yea I use a Shakespeare agility combo at the moment and I use my thumb
