Penn SSV 7500 long cast, I've used it once at gunna so far and was impressed with the line lay and the extra distance I got, only draw back is the weight..

this was what i was looking at and weight is not a problem as i have been giving

the gummy's a hiding up here with daiwa GS9s for more than 25 years just after

something different and don't like all this new fragile stuff .

theres no way my stradics and sustain i have could put up with all the crap that

gummy season dish's out not year after year .

what do you think about the big gap under the spool skirt when it's at the top of

it's stroke .

I was spinning with it with 80 to 100 gram metal pilchard lures, I cast about 150 casts, it never tangled and never got a wind knot, the line lay is the best I've seen on any reel, I have it loaded with 30lb braid.It's all metal construction and has a gazillion seals so water ingress should never be a problem.

NOTE: If your not going to cast a lot with it spinning check out the NEW Penn slammer reels, FULLY water proof all metal fighting machines also.

My wife said this will not work and I think she's right. I should attach it on the rotor to work.
