$55 seems a bit steep. I got 2 butts redone on trout rods for my old man. cost me around $120 if i remember correctly.

Shaped cork grips. gold rings, gold fuji reel seat with an alps alloy with rubber bottom but cap and also put on hook keepers.

The blokes business is SG custom rods in Traralgon He is really good. Does everything from repairs to full builds with custom designs.
