Ok after using the two PENN squalls i bought i really like how smooooth and quiet they
are when i cast them .......... so what is out there that would be a good replacement for
my old ABU 6500 C3 .
it's on a 701 ugly stick i built 15 years ago i use it with 12lb mono for spinning up skippys
and salmon .
cheers TAC

I don't have a lot of experience with overheads but if you like the squalls buy another one?
Dinga has them fairly cheap, I paid 138 for my 60ld

Have a look at a daiwa millionaire 300s, would be a good option for what you do with it.
Cast, catch and put it back
