BCF 'Mates Rates' sale ends 8/8/12. Will no doubt be state wide. 25% of all lures and 20% of Shimano rods. 20% of generators as well if you want to spend big! I'm not a fan of BCF as I believe they are generally expensive but these discounts will bring the prices down to a respectable level.
thanks

Awesome, what price did it end up going for? Was looking for a decent surf spin rod, but not spending big coin!

passed by BCF Braeside on the way to Sorrento. I need a spin rod that is heavier than my Starlo Flatspin but a bit lighter then the Catana. Picked up another Shimano surf spin rod that suited my requirement. I was given 25% discount instead of 20%. Frequent Buyer Program discount.

They old man on the counter was trying to be a smart arse by being too helpful. I asked him if they have a T-curve 3-6kg spin rod and he said, "why do you want that? It does not look good on a boat. Come here I will show you something that looks good on a boat. Which boat did you buy downstairs?" (he must be talking about the boats in JV Marine). I told him, nah not this time. I made a mistake, I should have taken him for a ride and told him I bought the biggest Carribean on display. That could have made my day but he probably wont let me leave without every boat accessories available in store.
