Yeah definitely happy to my experience with them (when I get one), I biggest thing I'm looking for in them is greater secondary stability when you've got a bit of chop on the bay.

Unfortunately the Hobie Ama Sidekick Kit is currently out of stock Australia and US wide with an unspecified wait time by Hobie. Called pretty much all retailers in VIC & Interstate, along with Hobie themselves and everything is currently on back order - Hobie Asia ETA is early 2024 (TBC).

I have been considering going second hand (though they're hard also to chase down) OR third party, but would rather the second hand option!

May consider the rudder later on, will see!
