flinders whiting

Post by Toady king » Sun Sep 10, 2017 7:38 pm

headed out to my favourite place and favourite spot today. 6:30am launch. didn't take long to get bites. first 2 fish are small leatherys, back they went. next bite was huge, pulling drag, head thrashing. me and my mate called KGW, comes to the surface .... leathery ..... it was insane. caught at least 20 leatherys today and nearly all of them were doing the exact same fight. I was shocked, im use to the bite and dead weight. in fact all the fish were fighting great today, especially the wrasse, they were fighting extremely well. the grass whiting had that many head shakes it felt like they were playing a joke on me ️haha.
now to the more important fish, the KGW. only managed 2. the pair came in at 44cm! but my good the fight. smashed me ️haha. felt like horse in weight and fight! couldn't have been more pleased with the pair

Good catch, it's always nice to get a few Lj's when fishing for Whiting, IMO they're just as good to eat.
