fish finder help

hey guys im interested in getting a fish finder and want to talk about what I need etc. any shops recommendations I can go to talk/look at them around Carrum downs area?

First decision is whether you want to fork out for gps maps or just a straight sounder. Lowrance hook series seem most popular for kayaks, especially the hook 4. If you are fishing westernport then having maps is even more useful

for a kayak most people are getting a lowrance hook4 style/sized sounders. have a look at them and similar other brands.
