You won't get much for $600. Save up a couple of grand and get yourself a second hand Hobie

Brown Trout: 37cm
Flathead: 51cm; Squid: 36cm; Australian Salmon: 51cm; Snapper 46cm; Silver Trevally 23cm; KGW: 45cm

I'm with 4litres.
You can get second hand old hobie models for around $1500. Be much nicer, safer, stable, etc.
I had $700 kayak, sold it after few use and bought native watercraft Slayer10.

Re: wtb yak for the bay
as said a sub $600 good bay fishing kayak may be hard to find and if you are looking at pedal craft even harder but quite often good second hand yaks come upMasterBaiter24 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 13, 2021 4:27 pmHi all, just title, lmk if anyone has a yak for sale thats suitable for the bay! looking for something under 600$ but willing to adjust budget if necessary
however there are quite a few paddle craft that will be closer to your budget and don't think for a moment that you need a pedal craft to catch fish
I for one don't use a pedal boat and am on my third kayak over a 10 year period all have been a paddle type kayak
Ian ( 4litres ) has both pedal and paddle fishing kayaks
if you do look at a paddle craft for the bays look for at least 3.6 meter long vessel and 4 or longer even better you will quite often find good second hand suitable kayaks with sounders and paddle sub $ 1000 and closer to your budget
My kayak PBs
