For sale, pick up only in Geelong
Rod rack
$100
Solidly built and made of hardwood of some description, was formerly used in a store so it has a slot at the top for a bit of perspex with a logo on it. Holds 30 rods, probably less if you have the reels attached. More or less as new, selling as no longer required.
Rod: Cortland Desire 4pc Fly Rod 9'6" 7 weight
$50
Never used, comes with it's own rod tube. I don't know much about this rod as I've never been fly fishing but it looks like it's 100% graphite construction. I think retail in Australia would've been around $80-$100.
Rod: Shimano Seapreme 6'6" 2-4kg 2pc
$15
Used twice, still in good condition. The Seapreme range of rods was made by Shimano for Sneaky Fisho for a few years, I also have a 12' Seapreme surf rod which I cannot fault. Graphite composite blank with a solid glass tip, this one has a soft action and good sensitivity. I expect it is the same blank as one of Shimano's entry to mid level rods but I don't know enough about their range to tell you which one. This would make a really nice rod for bait fishing for whiting/pinkies/flatties; I'd still use it myself but on the yak I find I prefer the graphite rods as they are a bit more versatile.
