Actually .. Please share his/her number so we all can at least get back something for all the kachings we spent at BCF and the like.

It isn't actually that hard. There are a few tests the ATO will use to decide if your business is actually a business and not a hobby but they aren't impossible as long as you know what they are looking for. There is an example of a single goat being classified as a business for instance.
