Re: dhuey
I would strongly recommend reading 'The Ghosts of the Estuary" for anyone interested in this kind of fishing.

Re: dhuey
Haven't really been up to having another go smile of late, but things on the up !.
Still have 6 months I'm figuring to get the boat back on the water, It hasn't really bothered me up until now, that the boat was laid up, I did over 100 hours in the last year before the rebuild, guess I needed a break, but the bug has certainly reared it's ugly head over the last couple of months.
Thanks guys, yeah, had a smile as wide as a cheshire cat with this one.
They are a real interesting fish, caught one off Darwin 18 months ago out wide and they seem to even be a different looking fish up north,
definitely they feed and are caught differently anyways.
I picked the brain of an old bloke a few years back and he told me stuff about themI knew nothing about, couldn't even find that out by googling afterwards, But I must admit I've not really targeted them,,,,, that may well change......
It certainly gave me a better insight, but definitely a harder story nailing them here in Victorian waters,, but, same same really, just different conditions.
