Any muloway in the yarra?

Hey fishos,
Just wondering if anyone has heard of any jewies getting caught anywhere in the yarra?

Im keen to get out and start trying again but would love to know if theres any around or if anyones heard of any!

Yes, hear reports every now and then. You gotta put a lot of effort though.
I heard people catch them on dead bait, but I guess live mullet is the best.

Don’t know at the moment but they defiantly habit some areas, see below video from 2012

Oh I remember this video, gave me motivation to hunt for mulloway. I caught a mulloway 2 years after that show. Took a while to try. Hooked 4x times and landed only once. Live mullet, even cranka crab intended for bream.

The boys at OZFishTV also have a video or two, they are land based. Google is your friend 👍🏼
