Shadowing the Ghost of the Estuary - Sol Bannura

Post by Pirana » Mon Aug 13, 2018 12:31 am

Hi folks!

Wandering if anyone know where I can purchase a copy of: "Shadowing the Ghost of the Estuary". Can't find it in stock anywhere.

This seemed like a logical place to start.

Thanks in advance.

good book, won't teach you too much about your target that you can't already find on the net, but he can spin a good yarn. I had a copy lying around somewhere but it's gone walkabout. can't remember where i bought it unfortunately

as basti said after reading it i didnt think it was much helpfull in any special way. it is a good read though.
most of the book is based on the NSW systems mainly the hawksbury river, so if your fishing it then it could help you more than others.

last time i seen this book was at compleat angler bentleigh, so try there

Just a quick update. Found a purchased a copy from bookworm.com.au in WA.

I think they still have one left.

Im 3/4 into the book. And so far, have found it a good read. Certain things clash with my viewpoints (including the misleading title). Though there are "gold nuggets" of insights scattered throughout. ...Just those are worth the book.

Thanks for those who replied.

Are these 'gold nuggets' by any chance relevant to chasing other species? I find at times when I watch a video on chasing a particular species that I don't chase, I find tips that are relevant for any style of fishing.
cheers
