Indeed, i was going to fish the Yarra. But after reading this report, i said to myself am trying out the Nong for Bream & possible Mulloway. Anyway this time of year the Bream are generally at the upper reaches of the river, hence why i fished above the Angler's, turned out to be be a good evening.

"Thanks guy's for your nice comments"

Your not wrong :-D as a lifelong bait angler, i have been looking into SP fishing for some time now & am now convinced it was the right way to go for fishing certain fish species e.g Mulloway, Bream, Flathead etc etc.

Bait fishing is something I will continue to do, now am using my bait fishing experience & techniques & applying them to SPS' s / lure angling, both styles of fishing have their place, my primary interest is catching fish on the lightest gear possible.
