Hey everyone, Just wondering what sort of Clothing people wear when spinning in the surf?
I'm not quite sure if i need waders or not as i've heard people say for and against, So if any of the surf spinners here can help me out that'd be great.

shorts and comfortable top. We hit the surf bare footed during summer and use thongs during winter

I wear waders, t-shirt and woolen army jumper, the jumper comes on and off depending how hot I get ..
He who has the most fishing rods WINS !

board shorts some sandals / old runners and a warm top. can walk 2 - 4 kms while surf spinning.

Tried waders once while spinning found it to uncomfortable walking long distances, now just stick to thongs, shorts, t-shirt and if cold thin wind/water proof jacketNude up wrote:I hope the thongs are on your feet, lol I prefer waders myself I hate getting wet

try wearing waders and walk from Gunna car park to the rocks towards cape schank . On your return trip, you will think about ditching your waders.
