Has anyone recently fished either Ringwood lake or Jells Park Lake?
I just gave ringwood lake a go, and after two hours of seeing ducks i packed it in.
Trying to work out if it worth giving it another go, or would Jells Park lake be a better option.

Re: ringwood lake and Jells park lake
what's your target Chris? trout, redfin or carp?
Nothing edible in Rongwood lake. Water was too dirty and brown.
Never tried Jells but did a lot of sessions in Rowville lakes. Big carp on the big lake. Nice reddies and the lakes are regularly stock with trout.

Re: ringwood lake and Jells park lake
Thanks Fish-cador, sounds like Rowville Lakes might be worth a go.
I'm happy to land anythings at the moment. I'm trying to get my daughter hooked, so being able to catch anything is worth it for the fun.
Can you give me a heads up on best bait and rig for the carp At Rowville?
Will have to get the old spinners out for thr reddies.
