Quick photo, then release!

Snapper between 5-10kg don't taste as good as smaller fish. a 5kg+ snapper tastes very dry in my opinion.

Gummies and Jewies I may keep in that size range.

So long as I am within my bag limit id be keeping it.... if its another 20lber snap id be mounting it as i really want a pair for my man room...
If its any other fish that i am targeting id keep to eat.... Nothing and i mean nothing on a fish gets wasted....and we never seem to have enough, the oldman and the rest off the family eat fish at least once a day....

I don't catch many fish over 5kg, the ones I do are usually gummies so they go home with me :-).
Still got some shark in the freezer from March, thawed some the other day and it is as it was caught. Get a vacuum sealer, vinhii. You can safely freeze for later then.
