4x4 and tackle show

Post by Wolly Bugger » Sat Sep 03, 2011 2:09 pm

Thought it would be a good idea for my daughter to give me a fathers day treat and take me to the 4x4 and tackle show. Left early then spent around 1/2 hour moving a mere 200 metres. It looked like every one else had the same idea of arriving early to beat the rush.

Did toy with the idea of catching public transport.

Found a one the things I wanted, looked around a bit, but all these specials and rod and reel combos were doing my head in. Especially when they are a type or brand not previously seen.

There were these ugly sticks priced at 169 in the 50% off tent.

Watched the Barra tank again, didn't buy any of his lures, though, maybe next year.

Got to say no to that one, otherwise I am sure wolly would hit me up for child support payments as well...
Just that we all went last year, seems I missed the cut this time.
BUt I can live with that, I think I can anyway.

We had left before you even got out of bed tacklenut, :wink1: and were back home by the time you put your slippers on. ;)

Didn't even take the other free loaders, didn't even tell them I was going. :roflmao:
