Scrap that, just checked the weather update and the wind is looking a bit unpredictable, being solo id rather not take the risk. I’ll postpone to another weekend

Haha yes, I saw the weather forecast too.
Today I ended up doing things with the yak, didn't get chance to go out, such a perfect day to be on the yak today, oh well...
Tomorrow is totally the opposite, high chance or shower, strong wind, possible thunderstorm.
Today I had to go back to capacity sports for missing parts for the boone-dox wheel, back home to point cook and assembled this and that, tried putting the kayaks onto the roof rack, etc.

Tried this and that. And just what Duck and Maz said, put the slayer on top of the titan, seems to be working. Drove around a bit too, was holding well.
A bit hard putting the slayer on top, a bit high, might need a step stool or something. Lucky the slayer is only 28kg.
Might tie the front too, to secure more.

Looks very good Seb . Glad it was an easy solution. And more importantly, easier which means more likely to go fishing more often.
As far as the height issue getting them on the roof-racks, and the need for you to have/carry with you a step ladder, I might have an easy solution

Saw these as a better option, higher and quite possibly waterproof

Hey Seb. Looks good. Just strap that top yak like you did the bottom one. The way you’ve done it will eventually cause you drama.

Re: Custom made roof rack? Does anyone know
Yea I know, I need longer tie down straps, need at least a 6m long, like the one you showed me $25 from Bunnings. Gonna get them tomorrow.
Tie the front to the car too just with a telstra rope using trucky hitch, should be secure enough.
Tie both you reckon? Or just the top one. As in the 3rd and 4th straps are wrapping them both or just wrap the top one.

Tie both separately. 4 straps.
Any other way can lead to loose loads as **** happens like heat
