All good. Been a couple of years now so it’s not as bad. Missed her heaps in the first 6 months to a year. Was very hard but like anything life goes on.

Yeah ya better I think one of the worst things I did was wait 18 months to get her after my previous mate passed.
And don't be afraid to rescue a mutt either she was 7yo when I got her and so were the 2 before her .

Tac, you have just gone up an extra run on my ladder of respect. Well done. Our cat is a rescue.

A family friend, does foster care and then places rescued animals. I'm forever making play gym type equipment for the dogs mainly, which then go with the dog to it's new home to help them settle in with their new owner.

PS, Tac if you go any higher on my ladder of respect, I'd be able to look up your Kilt :o_0:

Cheers, Bug

My loyal pooch loves going in the boat and trying to tip the squid bucket over or looking nervously when a fish bigger than him comes in. The most fun comes if I take him fishing walking the banks he sees fish following my lure near the bank and jumps in at them, swims out after my lure and if I manage to hook a trout he hasn't spooked he will swim after it as I try and bring it in attempting to grab it by the tail.

Fortunately when I fish land based with him it's more a walk for him and not a fish catching mission.

Here's my two, unfortunately only one now. We lost Winnie, the black and white one, just over a year ago. The other little bloke is Merlin. He's a chick magnet. Can't walk down the street without every chick we meet wanting to cuddle him.

They were both rescue dogs.
