Jesus christ, the egos and power trips around this joint is full on. Can't we all just have some fun and get along?

Tell the dr you can't work at all cos of knee pain and issues relating to the surgery.
Go to drs and get a Centrelink sickness certificate.
Apply for Newstart allowence and then certificate will make you exempt for looking for work.
If you keep posting on how to fraudulently receive money, I’m going to have no choice but to ban you.
I really don’t care how you try to sugar coat it, it’s bloody fraud, it’s illegal and it’s against the rules of the forum.

Re: Losing payments
I get what you're saying, but it sounds like Texas has legitimate reasoning to see a doctor and apply for centrelink benefits given his injury history... I may be wrong but I don't think smile and tunaslayer are implying Texas should scam the system and fraudulently claim disability benefits, i think they are genuinely giving advice, although it can easily be mistaken either way.Brett wrote:bowl wrote:Agreed...Thetunaslayer wrote:Actually hes right.thats how the system works.so banning him is just a reflection off yoy taking it personally.probably the wrong attitude for a moderator i thinkBrett wrote:smile0784 wrote:Easy fix.

Re: Losing payments
Well if your already been thru the work cover system ,your doctor would of already been giving you certificates to say you r unfit to work ...Brett wrote:bowl wrote:Agreed...Thetunaslayer wrote:Actually hes right.thats how the system works.so banning him is just a reflection off yoy taking it personally.probably the wrong attitude for a moderator i thinkBrett wrote:smile0784 wrote:Easy fix.

After the 2 years or so of work cover payments finish you have no other option to go on dole if you have serious injury.
No way you should have to take your own intitlements cause of a workplace accident/ injury...

Re: Losing payments
Everything will work out fine Tex. Explore all avenues and I guess you have done that prior to starting this thread.....there is not much more than you can do. I dare say you had a game plan prior to posting this anyway and reading your first post, I don't think you asked for any advice anyway! If this does lead to retirement then enjoy!!!!!!
