Do you absolutely need it now? Have a look at the costs of taking a trailer over to Tassy on the spirit. Costs as much as a trailer to take it over..

That's the quickest way to rust out the floor

If you mean a new trailer for 6-700 it will be a p.o.s. Anything half decent that's locally made with a checker plate floor's going to be over a grand.

If its close to you go and see the guys at Victorian Trailers in Thomastown they are reasonable quality and well priced. Can do custom work as well if you wish. I have had mine for 4 years and had no problems the only thing I would do extra is get them to give it an extra coat of paint for better protection and risist chipping.
I got mine there also ( 750kg 6x4 3' or is it 4' ? cage ) top trailers well built.
He who has the most fishing rods WINS ! :ts:

Yep, need it for the move. It’s actually cheaper for us to get to tassie on the boat with a trailer than it is to fly the family.

Mate I had a quite a heated discussion with the councillor involved (Heather marcus)
Suggested she has never been to the tip, amongst other things
Heaped 6x4 trailer $100, got a cage, add another $50
More rubbish to be picked up at Mt Cottrell & only 28% of people use their vouchers

Bloody madness

Brooklyn tip charge me $74 for a 7x5 with a cage filled to the top, as long as it's under 300kg.
