you don't get it do you.
Victorians are only used as a advertising plot, to gain sponsorship from??
Then they head north for the winter.
While we freeze our butts off.
How could you support something when it doesn't represent us.
Perhaps you don't get it. How many episodes could you make in one location?

I would head north if I could at this time of year and I am next week.

Can see where you both are coming from. Love local content on fishing shows but sometimes an episode somewhere new is great. Fishing Edge is one with a bit more of a budget to do both but rarely goes overboard. Shows like youfish which is a you tube thing now, thats fishing, ozfish, savage seas etc run of a more limited budget but have more local content.

What don't you get, a show about southern fishing, going north for the winter.
At least 1400K of coast line from SA to Eden and you say go North for winter for filming.
Why would even a Victorian watch the same that has been produced for over 10 years.

List all the segments of the 3 seasons of the 22 episode show you would run.

I would suggest 2 different fishing segments per episode.

another show another excuse to be in northern Australia during the southern winter, all expenses tax deductable.
We Victorians need a show that stays in Vic, fishing in points between Kangaroo Island & Eden.
Not the alligator river in NT.
That's all flash promo to sell overseas. does nothing for us.
Unfortunately the market for shows featuring 12 hours anchored in WPB on a freezing cold July evening for a dozen swell sharks and a banjo isn't what it used to be.

Oz Fish TV used to do a heap of local stuff but even they've decided that it's better to look further afield and head to Flinders Island etc
Exactly right....unfortunately our fishing here isn't as exciting.

why are we all arguing about something that none of us here have any say in whatsoever ???
who gives a rats where the show is being done, dont like it dont apply its the simple.

want to see more local content, get off your slack arse and go do something about it.
even making a small video for youtube is time consuming as is, so instead of whining like a bunch of sooks be proactive and do something about it, or at least support members on here that actually take time to do some videos of their trips so you guys can watch it...
or even better, put up a ******* fishing report and few pics of you last outing..
everyones quick to judge when theres something they dont like, quite a lot here who do fkall or no reports at all, but still have a go at ones that actual post something.
