Re: Interesting artical. Where do you stand?
the world will end up being totally run by artificial intelligence one day, most likely the computers will take over and get to a stage where there's no regaining any control of them. a bit like the terminator movies etc.
the worlds a bad place and its going to get worse.

How about making driving tests harder and every few years. Good drivers keep driving and **** drivers can catch the bus and train.
I'll stay in control of my machine thank you very much.

Re: Interesting artical. Where do you stand?
It is purely a question of computing power we need more to handle all the required sensor inputs.
It will only be a matter of time.
Many good points/uses elderly and others who not able to drive.

Bring it on!
I envisage a time when every vehicle on the road is autonomous and able to communicate with other vehicles around it and with the road network. Less traffic jams, less car crashes, better traffic flow....
To me driving is just means of getting from point a to point b. Never got the whole driving for fun thing.

Driving for fun is good sometimes so maybe they can build in a function thst only activities for emergencys lick assisted breaking etc on lane control or if you fall asleep.
Other thoughts
How is the goverment going to deal with the lack of revenue from not getting speeding fines or red light camera fines ?
Can they still book you for text driving or holding a device or drink driving?
Is this going to wipe out licences all together?
Will insurance go down cos your reducing the chance of human error?
