Brain surgery starts at $60k lol.Mattblack wrote:I bet you're one of those guys that reads instructions before you give it a crack as well...for shame!purple5ive wrote:unaustralian hah!! its called being smart hahahaMattblack wrote:That's un-Australian! Might cost you twice as much as getting a plumber, but at least you can say you fixed it yourself!purple5ive wrote:And the Moral of the story is??smile0784 wrote:Shower was fine.for 2.years then stated dripping even tho turned taps on super hard ao i replaced washes and now problem started
Get the Professionals to look at it
also take those grommets out and you will use a lot more water than normal, its there for a reason!
Worse case scenario is that you buy a set of new taps (you might have buggered them by wrenching them tight instead of replacing the washers)
what if you can never fix it yourself??
Seriously though, has anyone else noticed tradies charge more per hour than a brain surgeon these days?
Pay $2 to 6k just for aneathatist
Intensive care bed $7000 per night nim 3 night stay lol

Process of elimination, remove the head which is a minute job, leave the stem etc as is.. test water pressure and heat then..

Couldnt remove the white gromit so drilled a 3mm hole threw it lolDazzac wrote:If you have just changed shower head, then I will say that there is a little grommet thingy inside the head itself has dislodged and blocking pressure. Had the same problem, take the head off and throw the little grommet thing away. The pressure will be the best you've had...
Hope that makes sense and works for ya...
Cheers Daz
Screwed back on and boiling hot water all day and water pressure really increased by 4 fold.
Happy now.
Thanks for all the idea from everyone.
