Not all foreign ownership is bad
Land line had a great article about a farm at Pardoo WA (probably the size of Tassie)
I don't believe essential services should be privately owned
Petrol, I believe Shell do not refine fuel in Australia anymore, it comes in ready made.

Like other raw products from mining and farming.....doesn't mean we any longer can do much with it domestically, so we send it overseas for value adding/turning into a useful product. And it's bull really.

So we can import oil cheaper then mining our own?
And send out stuff we produce cos we make more of a profit on it?

Cant the big companies be morrally responsible for the country they take oil from and there proority and put profits aecond for the sack of national interest?
