I am also an ISTJ Will. Years ago when I was a management trainer I did the full Myers Briggs accreditation course and got to know 20 people a lot better than I ever wanted to. That said with all its problems the Myers Briggs rating, if properly explained to those that undertake the test, can be quite useful for some people. To use it for employment purposes though has been pretty much discredited.

One of my best friends keeps sending me emails saying TWIF so I think he is in the grumpy old man personality group! I think I'm in that one too.

I did a full blown 6 hour psychometric test as a pre employment before starting work at my current employer. Since then have completed a couple of other different versions through other courses etc. it’s pretty interesting stuff.

A few years ago when I did this I was ENTP-A and just got ESTP-A
