Is it time to sink it?

HMAS Otama that is. Stopped at it yesterday afternoon during a quick joyride and noticed just how badly it's degraded. It'll take a serious injection of cash to get just the external hull back to shape should it magically be approved to hit land.

They say it will take 15 million to restore and waiting on government to find the money.
If it was such a issue to find 15 mill, why did they spend half a mill to bring it down from Sydney?

And they are asking for $250 k from mums and dads to bring it to shore but no other backing or plan once ot gets here.
Confusing or what?

What a monumental waste of money. Good target practice for the Navy/RAAF though.

Good wind break. Seen numerous boats use it as a windbreak. My kids like seeing it when we drive past.
