Spend the slightly extra money and get Mitsubishi heavy industries. These aren’t much more expensive than you’re looking at but they are better quality. The expense is in the labour should you ever need to change/repair the unit.
Personally I can’t stand evap. It’s a gross damp feeling on everything compared to splits.
As for keeping the house cool without extra cooling. Easy to do if you have a well insulated house or you’re shaded by trees or similar. But it’s not possible on every house.
