Indian with portuguese and british ancestors.
My wife who is Australian eats more hot food than i do.
Ive been embarrassed on more than one occasion at parties....
What's even more funny is when some people ask me my name. I tell them and then the next question is. So what's your real indian name. Then i have to explain the whole Anglo indian heritage thing and how we are mixed in with portuguese and british blood when they colonised india in the early days.
I don't blame them though. You look at me and see my name and anyone would do a double take.
I mean how many Indians do you know that are called Steve Antony Morris.

Australian, and we still have farm land that's been in the family since squatter times. Before that, had a relative trace ancestry back to England in the 1700's.

Yeah, amazing place. There are road side shops selling potato chips and jelabis that would be older than any building we have in Oz....history is everywhere and it is spectacular.
