Does anyone have any free soil that want to get rid of?

Everything that has nothing to do with fishing.

Just go buy it, you should get away with around 1cubic m for that area, should on,y be around $40.

It will most likely be better than anything anyone will give you for free also.

Great job you've done there.
On gumtree "free" page 2, top soil in Mentone.
Or as Brett said, what some people call "top soil" is more like garden rocks.

Cheers

Most garden centres sell a vegie mix, which is a blended soil/mulch/compost mix. Down here it's around $38 per m.

If you are not fussy just go to a building site, ask the builder or owner,im sure they would not mind, spend the money on gypsum, blood and bone cow, horse, sheep manure and you will have good soil in no time at all.
