Had to do a run, north of the divide.
Hume Fwy to Wallan (traffic lights everywhere),Heathcote, then across to Murchison, Shepparton, finishing at Barmah, for the night.
After Murchison it was nice to get on the Shepparton Fwy.
Cruising along nicely at 110kph when, in the middle of nowhere, the freeway finishes.
Did they run out of money??
Did they run out of land???
Did they run out of common sense??
You would think it would finish at Shepparton, at least.
Is it just me

Re: Freeway to nowhere
We were promised a dual carriage way from Melbourne to Sydney by 1988. I think it took another 20 years for it come to fruition. I think the last segment was completed around 2012.Texas wrote:Had to do a run, north of the divide.
