Don lake fishing ok between 7-10pm at the moment with consistent bites from Redfin and carp(not common carp). We landed a 45cm Redfin 2 weeks ago, biggest fish out of there since the early 90's. Pretty plain looking but fought well. Caught on worms fished on the bottom.
They have very recently added 3 fishing rock walls to the lake. Good seats and stubby holders lol. Pity about all the dogs off leads though. I get dog rage haha

Hhhmmmm ....when i was a young girl i was with my dad fishing off one of the melbourne piers. A big labrador off the lead managed to knock seven rods into the water.......there was some dog rage that day.!
